Cheers! I'll record that on to my scotPod and listen to it on Sunday. Thanks for letting us know.
"There’s a lot in the world for us to turn our attention to — helping people, helping animals, and helping animals help people." ... Bernadette Peters, August, 2007
I went to the concert. Tons of fun! Very short (about 25 minutes, I think) but it was impressive for being pretty much thrown together so quickly. I got a few good pictures of Bernadette and Bob Martin (Man in Chair) before my battery died. At least I think they are pretty good. Have to wait to download them tonight to see if they are blurry. I saw Sister Rose there too - in the front row!
Fantasia was the only person promoted to perform but who never materalized.
"Particular mention must be made of Bernadette Peters, who turns up briefly in a sort of sparkly Glinda the Good costume. She's the reluctant muse sent to help Alice with her writing. The muse is dressed like Oz, sounds like Queens and behaves like a bored student adviser." Alice Film Review, The New York Times, December 25, 1990
"I'm one star away from Dolly Parton ... and Raymond Massey is between us. I hope we don't suffocate him." Bernadette Peters receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, April 24, 1987
Very good recap if not entirely accurate. Man in Chair sent Bob Saget with the Angela Landsbury Gypsy which he kept "in a Dean Martin cover". A few other inaccuracies but its pretty much all there.

That video is great. Captured a lot of the funny moments. I wish the part with the stage hands had gone on long enough for them to reveal Bernadette in the fridge.
As promised - my pictures.

It was good to see you Moljul. I was drunk with exhaustion and overexcitement. I got to the Marquis at 6:45 and was 9th in line. The girls at the front of the line were there at 5:00 am. When we were about to enter the theatre, some man told us not to bother going to the orchestra becasue it was full of VIPs. I don't know what his purpose was in saying that because the house was not completely full and we ended up on the first row. As the kids say, what-EVER. It was a ridiculously long time to wait for a 20 minute concert, but for our Divas, we'll do just about anything. It was BIG FUN. Besides, cutting work is something at which I'm especially adept.
