I'm listening to another podcast, but will click on this later. Thanks.

No, actually she doesn't get to say too much.

| posted: 10/19/2007 at 11:08:20 AM ET Each podcast is only 6-7 minutes long. She gives intros to people before they speak so you know who is speaking and does the transitions from topic to topic. I was impressed with her spainish accent on the appropriate words. Of course I'm no expert.
"Particular mention must be made of Bernadette Peters, who turns up briefly in a sort of sparkly Glinda the Good costume. She's the reluctant muse sent to help Alice with her writing. The muse is dressed like Oz, sounds like Queens and behaves like a bored student adviser." Alice Film Review, The New York Times, December 25, 1990
"I'm one star away from Dolly Parton ... and Raymond Massey is between us. I hope we don't suffocate him." Bernadette Peters receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, April 24, 1987

Registered: 5/3/2002 | posted: 10/20/2007 at 7:34:28 PM ET It took me a while, but I finally figured out that the podcasts are just brief excerpts from a full hour special made for Public Radio Exchange in honor of National Hispanic/Latino Heritage Month (Sept 15-Oct 15). If you register with them you can listen to any of their programming for free on their website.

Sorry: Edit: how to download the full 1 hour program...not the one that's the series of 4.

Registered: 5/3/2002 | posted: 10/20/2007 at 11:17:25 PM ET I may be wrong, but my interpretation is that they only give permission to download the full 1 hour special to radio stations and not to individuals. All I can figure out is that you have to listen to it streaming on your computer in real time and you can't download to save up and play later on an MP3 device. At least I can't see any way to do it. I'm not very good at this stuff though.
