Proud parents Matthew Broderick (The Producers) and Sarah Jessica Parker (Sex & the City) had a boy, David Jerkins, last night. Congrats!

Actually I believe the middle name is Perkins. I'm not sure if that was just a typo or not. He was born at 3 a.m. on Monday morning at Lenox Hill Hospital. My roommate is a neonatal nurse practioner at Lenox Hill. She was so mad she didn't go to work on Sunday night or Monday during the day. She could have seen the baby and maybe helped with the delivery. :-)

I thought it was probably a typo. I mean who would give their kid the middle name of Jerkins. LOL

Yeah, isn't that crazy. The New York Post listed the wrong name and a lot of people picked up on it. They actually named the baby after Matthew's father. How sweet.
