This all sounds like so much fun and so reasonable too so I'm sorry to say I won't be able to join you for the festivities as my mother will be arriving that afternoon/evening. There's a chance we might be able to swing by for a drink. *cough*
Though I am excited that my mother will be attending her first Bernadette Peters concert the following evening.

Dear Fanadettes - We are set for dinner at Tony's Di Napoli on April 30th at 7:00 pm. I am still working on the pre-dinner festivities...so stay tuned. I have paid a deposit for 25 participants. I will ask for a final headcount in the middle of April. You know Tony's Di Napoli as the Time Square restaurant where Bernadette's portrait is displayed.

Good choice! Had a feeling Tony's might be one of places.
Will we get to sit "under" her portrait? Or maybe they can put the portrait on an easel among our tables with its very own spotlight!

Keep in mind that if my pre-dinner plan confirms then it will begin about 4:00 or 4:30 so you may miss it if you're at a matinee. The pre-dinner plan does not involve a bar and will cost about $10 - less for students. I will let you know what it is as soon as I have confirmation.

PART I OF THE BASH: On Sunday April 30th at 4:00 pm, we will meet at the Museum of Television and Radio for a group screening of Bernadette's appearances on Name That Tune and The Muppet Show. Some of you have seen it...some have not. It is required viewing for all! The actual screening will begin at 4:30 pm. (Group Rates: $6 adults, $5 seniors, $3 students and children)
PART II OF THE BASH: 7:00 dinner at Tony's Di Napoli.
PART III OF THE BASH: A pub to be named at a later date.
STAY TUNED FOR SPECIFIC DETAILS ON TIME, LOCATIONS, ATTIRE, AND OTHER SPECIAL TREATS.
Be there, or be square.
