I have tickets and if she performs that is going to be one emotional concert. But she will have all her support from her fans.

"For Peters, the show must go on
Broadway musical fans were stunned last month when it was announced that Bernadette Peters' husband, Michael Wittenberg, had been killed in a helicopter crash. But Peters, the Ozone Park-born, Tony-winning star of shows that include "Gypsy," "Sunday in the Park With George" and "Into the Woods" remains the headliner as the Tilles Center celebrates its 25th anniversary gala tomorrow night at 8:30, dedicating her performance to Wittenberg, who was originally from Wantagh.
Also on the bill is the Long Island Philharmonic, led by Peters' musical director, Marvin Laird."

I'm holding my breathe through Saturday night, and trusting she summons all the strength she needs to have a glorious concert for her Michael.
Bless you, Bernadette.

God....
Christine, I hope you don't have pneumonia. Take care. I'm glad you're going to see the doctor.

| posted: 10/15/2005 at 1:45:33 AM ET I have to think this is going to be a very cathartic experience for Bernadette to perform again after the emotional last few weeks. I will be interested to see how the concert goes and am so glad to hear that it will go on as scheduled. She is truly a class act.
