I just got an email from my friend who went to the show today and said Bernadette was there for the taping. I had gone to the show yesterday. Wish I had known. I would have gone today instead.

She presented the award for "best musical performance". The whole show was set up as a funny farce of big time tv awards shows, it was actually pretty hysterical at times. Bernadette paused for a sec just before opening the envelope to make a dry witted "oh I'm so excited!" remark that was a hoot.

I enjoyed it when she emerged from the limo, with those big sunglasses on, and started blowing kisses to the audience--very mock-diva-ish.

From: Arizona | posted: 9/23/2005 at 2:07:06 PM ET I just finished watching and thought the whole thing was pretty lame. I know it's supposed to be a spoof but they could've at least given Bernadette an award, or nomination for best guest cohost, she was hysterical and brilliant when she cohosted in July. Even Jessica Simpson was in that category.

Best part: She was wearing one of my very favorite dresses!

From: NYC | posted: 9/26/2005 at 1:17:24 PM ET I thought it was pretty funny but I like spoofs like that. Bernadette wasn't nominated in the co-host category because it was best *new* co-host. I agree about the red carpet part - very cute and funny.
