Kermit the Frog hosted a Tonight Show evening back in '79. Bernadette Peters sang a song to Kermits little nephew about "confidence": it went like this if there is one person who believes in you why not 2 and if 2 why not 3 and so on...What was the name of that song and who wrote it and who originally sang it. Thanks for your help, it means alot. Ric

Sorry I have no idea. I wasn't even born yet I did some searching and the date the show aired was 04-02-1979, so maybe you could get a video tape somehow?

Bernadette also sang this song on The Muppetts in Nov. 1977. The song is "Just One Person" and, according to a Jim Henson/Muppetts site, it was "origially used as the finale for 'Snoopy:the Musical' ". Don't know who wrote it, but you can prpbably do a search of some of the music web sites. Hope this helps.
