| posted: 7/31/2005 at 9:52:57 PM ET This weekend's On Stage on NY1 reported on Bernadette's album release party this past Tuesday. At the end, the host said that Bernadette is in talks for her next Broadway project. Sooooooooo, what do you think it is? The First Wives Club? A new Sondheim musical? I wonder, I wonder.

From: northern VA | posted: 7/31/2005 at 9:58:58 PM ET Moljul-there are also some Jerry Herman revivals in the works. I don't think anyone's been announced for them.
I did read somewhere that Sondheim is going to try and get Bounce ready for a Broadway run, after some retooling, but I don't see her in that show.
How wonderful! Another show, perhaps! Anticipation....I wonder what's going on.

Of course, I hope first that she gets an original show of her own, that runs like five years, but if not, "Mame" would be great.
OK, who for Vera Charles?

I have said it before, so of course I'll repeat: I would like to see her do a non-musical--with elements of humor but also some serious elements.
Please, no more revivals--this is THE premier Broadway diva...let's get her in something original and suited for her uniqueness.
