Maybe it's just that she hasn't co-hosted in forever, but I feel that was her best show yet. She was so funny and chatty. Usually it's Regis monopolizing the conversation, but she really took over today and it was fabulous.
Loooved that she sang a little; and when she was so giddy during the wheel spinning. lol

From: NYC | posted: 7/27/2005 at 10:19:36 AM ET To quote BP, I went outside today and my hair frizzed up....but sadly its not in a good way. And I didn't get in. Lindsey was there too. I was # 16 and she was # 63. They took through # 13. Blah. Anyway, I stood outside and watched the beginning chat and now I'm at work in the air conditioning. OMG - its sweltering. Pray for a cool front for Saturday. Anyway, I was only watching from a tiny monitor but of course Our Queen look FABULOUS and was in top form - making blush and everything.

I mean, come on.

My plan was to be there by 6am, but I'm wondering if I even would have gotten in.

From: Rhode Island | posted: 7/27/2005 at 10:26:55 AM ET Well I didn't get there until a little after 6:30, so I figured there wouldn't be much of a chance I'd get in. But I was #63 or so at that point.

From: NYC | posted: 7/27/2005 at 10:36:28 AM ET I got there at 5:45 and I was # 16. The first people in line arrived at 5:15. Everybody in front of me were just tourists and weren't really fans of Bernadette. Grrrr. They didn't pass out stand-by #s until about 7:40ish.

| posted: 7/27/2005 at 11:16:27 AM ET NO, you're not. lol You're a fan. Tourists are insane for getting there at 5:15 am!
Then again, they are probably fans of the show in general. But STILL!
I was actually going to take a 4am ferry which would have gotten me there before 5am. Then last night I changed my mind to get the 5am ferry and get there by 6. Then I just gave up all together.

And was it just me or were her arms looking particularly buff today?

| posted: 7/27/2005 at 12:02:05 PM ET Okay, I REALLY don't feel like working so I thought I would come back here and discuss the show some more.
So what did everyone think about the "book stealing" story and the rather hysterical and long story about Kramer and his romance difficulties. Seems like the "men" in the house were being a little sensitive.
As for the books, I'm assuing the security guard probably didn't want to stop Bernadette and ask her for a receipt. LOL
And do you think if Regis is going to continue to tell the story about how Bernadette and Michael met that he could possibly get it right one of these times. She has corrected him in the past but today I noticed she let it slide.

From: NYC | posted: 7/27/2005 at 12:03:58 PM ET I only watched the "chat" portion so far on the tiny monitor and I was laughing hysterically outside of ABC. I tried to get the cameraman to put me on tv but he said he didn't have orders to turn on the camera. Anyway, both stories about Kramer and the books were hysterical. She was very "on" this morning!
