Sweet Charity Opening
I would have loved to have gone. TDF had tickets CHEAP for the opening but I couldnt get off of work.

Well, just came back from a glorious production of Sweet Charity. Christina was great and I personally can't imagine anyone else as Charity Hope Valentine. I'm going to skip my review of the show, for now, and let you guys know who was there and what happened. Well, I got there at around 6pm, and not wanting to miss any of teh action, picked up my ticket (TDF) and hung out around the red carpet. No one in particular showed up and I went inside at around 6:20pm. The show started late, it was sheduled to start at 6:30, but didn't start until 6:45. At one point before the show started, people in the orchestra began to cheer and appaude someone. Later I found out that this person was Gweneth Paltrow and her mother Bythe Danner! During intermission I took a walk downstairs where I spotted Donald Trump, his wife, Rosie O'Donnel and her partner Kelly, Alec Baldwin and who I believe to be Shirley McLaine. As I was walking up the stairs to go and take my seat, I turned around to get one last glace and noticed Jeanine Testori with her daughter. I walked over, re-introducted myself(I had met her at the Tribeca Film Festival-Show Business) and she graciously gave me a hug and said "of course, I remember you Renee"! After the show, I waited outside and met Christina Applegate, got a hug from Denis O'Hare and met Joyce Chittick(ensemble member) (who I had met before during Wonderful Town). Anyways, great evening. Had alot of fun!
