I heard from a friend that Bernadette was at the opening night of "Spelling Bee" last night. 
"Anyone who stays home is DEAD!"

Yes, I heard that too but there were no pictures of her on BroadwayWorld.com. Wonder why the camera missed her?

Maybe she didn't go through the red carpet picture line or something. Elaine Stritch was there too. My friend had his pictures made with both of them.

Thanks Jean. I had looked on Broadway.com earlier today and they had no pictures from the event. Just hadn't had a chance to look again.
Bernadette looks her usual gorgeous in those pictures.

"The brightest stars in attendance were clustered in and around the Lapine camp—Bernadette Peters, whom he directed to Tony nomination for Into the Woods, and Donna Murphy, whom he directed to a Tony for Passion. Peters expects to know next week, yea or nay, about "Adopted," the television pilot that she and Christine Baranski did for ABC..."

When I saw Sister Rose's intial post, I said to myself "hmm Lapine directing and BP wasn't in attendence"? I knew something was up! Of course, Donna and BP look lovely as ever! And who doesn't adore that picture of Bernadette and Chip...ahhh good times (by the way, I was just watching ITW yesterday).
