To be a individual booster requires a minimum $5 donation. For this donation, you can have your name printed in the Playbill, a tribute to a pet or statement in memory of a loved one.
In addition, a business can also be listed for a $25 minimum donation. This will include your business' name, address, phone number and email.
Lastly, there are 2 benefactor levels to giving this year. For a minimum $100 donation you will be listed as a Broadway Barks Benefactor and for a $1,000 or greater donation, a Grand Benefactor.
This is a great way for us to show our support for a fantastic cause! If you would like to be a booster or have any additional questions, please use the "contact us" form on the Broadway Barks website www.broadwaybarks.com.

Registered: 8/14/2003 | posted: 3/19/2005 at 3:50:13 PM ET Geez...you guys beat me to it. I was going to check my BB6 playbill at home because I think the Chenoweth fans did that last year (we can't be trumped by them!)
Anyway, I was going to suggest the very same thing. If we need someone to collect the donations and then mail them directly to the BB organizer, I'd be happy to coordinate things (though just don't make me come up with what might be printed in the Playbill...I'm not at all creative!)

Registered: 6/7/2003 | posted: 3/19/2005 at 3:56:53 PM ET Great going, great minds. I'll start with $25, and depending on how much we get, I'll put in more to get us to $100. $1000--umm, let's see.
Mandy, I for one would be happy to let you coordinate.

Registered: 5/3/2002 | posted: 3/19/2005 at 5:34:42 PM ET Surely we can make it to "grand benefactor" if everyone chips in. Let's not be unambitious. Now that it's been mentioned, I can't believe we didn't do it in past years, but at least we can make up for our oversight this year. As Mandy mentioned, Kristin Chenoweth's fan club was a benefactor in 2004. Think of the shame if all we did was match that. We have to exceed it tenfold in order to maintain our self-respect as true Bernadette fans and sincere animal lovers. So start saving your money now, and be as generous as possible!

Registered: 8/14/2003 | posted: 3/19/2005 at 6:58:26 PM ET Since we seem to be off to a great start, let me make a suggestion. If you would, those who are interested please PM me and let me know how much you would like to contribute. Once I find out more information such as the deadline and who to make the checks out to, I will then contact those who PM'd me and give you my address to mail the donation. I can update periodically as to how close we are to the "Grand Benefactor" status (since we've already surpassed the BB Benefactor level!) Thanks so much guys!
Edit: FYI--We are up to $400 so far!

Registered: 8/14/2003 | posted: 3/22/2005 at 5:21:05 PM ET That's great Chiquita! We are getting very close to our goal of $1000! Every little bit helps and I will continue to take donations until the 3rd week in April. Also, there is a chance that our individual names along with a "title" will be included in the Playbill under the heading Grand Benefactor! If you have decided to donate but do not want your individual name in the Playbill, please let me know. Also, these donations are tax-deductible which is why I am requesting a check (if possible) made out to Mayor's Alliance/Broadway Barks.
