From: NYC | posted: 2/16/2005 at 12:10:34 PM ET The concert is from a benefit in St. Louis - it is on a compilation tape that Mandy let me borrow - I'm not sure of the year. Dex kept touching the tv screen but I couldn't get him on film doing it. It was so cute.

She starts with There's No Business Like Show Business, then does You Can't Get a Man..., No One is Alone, Sooner or Later, Unexpected Song, Time Heals.., Nothing Like a Dame, Mr. Snow, It Might as Well Be Spring, Some People, With So Little to Be Sure of/Children Will Listen, Being Alive, and, as the encore, I'll Be Seeing You. 1 hour, 4 minutes.
The audience isn't the usual as it is a charity event, but I think she does quite nicely anyway. (In other words, with some audiences she kind of feeds off of the response, but here they were kind of quieter. EDIT: in all fairness to the folks in the audience, they did stand for her as she made her way back on stage for her encore, and someone placed a single rose on stage after Dame..--and she had a cute comment for the rose.)
The highlight for me was Mr. Snow--I am mezmerised by the song and her rendition. Also I'll Be Seeing You--I love the way she connects with the audience at that point, and seems to be singing right for/at each person.

Could it be from the SMU Award Show to Sondheim–late 1994?

I have the Hollywood Bowl concert from the 90s and love it. I would love to add St. Louis to my collection. Will someone make me a copy. I WILL PAY!!!!! PM me if this is possible!

That's the concert I thought it was too when I saw the pictures because her hair was very kinky at that SMU thing.

Well, mrbig, I guess Bernadette fans think alike because I actually did go to LA with my VCR to record that televised Hollywood Bowl concert. It was a very worthwhile trip too because she had the record signing the day before the first concert, the rehearsal at the Bowl was open to the public (something I stumbled upon as I was there picking up my tickets), there was a little interivew on one of the news stations and then I set the VCR in the hotel and went to the concert.
