If you never purchased Jeremy's taping of "Gypsy" I highly reccommend it. The quality is very good. You get the entire show with no glitches and lots of close-ups. Since I never saw the show this is something wonderful for me to see. It must have been taped towards the beginning of the run because June looks smaller than pictures I've seen of her and Rose wears a coat and hat when she sings "Roses's Turn." I also got AGYG but it has lots of glitches, rapid camera movement, and not Tom Wopat singing "An Old Fashioned Wedding". The first act is much better than the second act. It does have some good scenes and good close-ups of Annie. Jeremy's web site is http://jeremyfive.tripod.com/

I have it and it is nice to have. Though I was disappointed that another taping wasn't done after the show officially opened. This taping has to have been done in the first week or maybe two of previews and it was just such a different show even toward the end of previews. The blocking, sets, costumes, everything were different. Though if this is the only Gypsy filming out there, its better than nothing.

What do you mean June is smaller?

I'm going to guess that Carolyn meant Baby June was smaller in the previews because the young actress probably grew quite a bit during the production time frame.

Hi,
I was just wondering how much it cost to get it recorded onto dvd as well as the shipping charges. If anybody could reply I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Hollie
