It's unlikely I'll be able to make it to any of her concerts, but hopefully I'll be able to live them through you...does anybody have any info on what she'll be singing, or if she'll be trying her hand at any new songs? Has she spoken about the concerts at all? What song would you like her to sing that she hasn't done before? Maybe I'm out on a limb here...but wouldn't Bernadette doing 'My Way' be amazing!!

I'd love to see her do The Worst Pies In London. I saw Sweeny Todd a few weeks ago and I know that Bernadette could do it so much better.

No, she should save "I'm Still Here" for her 2030 concert tour. She's not old enough yet.

Elaine Stritch, in her show, joked about all the women who try to sing that song much too early in their careers.

Oh I don't know. I think she could start singing it around 2025. Of course at 77 she'll probably look about 50 so maybe it WILL be too soon.

I am going to her concert in Tampa in January and would love to see her do Being Alive and Move On. Love them on her CDs and can't imagine what it would be like to be in the audience. Can't wait!

Jean, you have inspired me to dig through my BP file and find a great picture of her from an article I have. I'll have to scan it and get it up as my avatar. Though I like Dr. Bernadette so much but this other picture just struck me as so unusual.

Will do, Jean! The last time I saw her in concert was her 2002 Buffalo R&H concert. Although those songs are all great I just love Sondheim so I am anxious to see what she chooses this time. And btw love your pic too!

Have you guys seen this picture before on the filmbug site?

I wouldn't mind hearing some of the R&H tunes that she did at Radio City again but didn't record. I especially like This Nearly was Mine and Hello Young Lovers.

She's doing a concert in Palm Desert on March 11 and 12. But I had trouble getting three tickets the day they began to sell them so good luck.

Hi Guys,

For those of you who are going to the Boston concert in April, you can now upgrade your tickets, if you wish. If you called Symphony Hall when the tickets went on sale and told them you were interested in this, they should be sending you a letter in the mail. I received mine last week, so you should have them soon, if you don't already. But, for those of you who aren't sure if you're going to be getting a letter, you can call them and ask to upgrade to the VIP ticket. The price is $250 per ticket, minus the price you paid for your original ticket. The phone number is 617-598-3220, I think.

I was wondering how many of you are planning to upgrade tickets for the Boston concert...I don't think I'm going to (just because my parents bought the tickets and I'm a little hesitant) but you can try to persuade me otherwise hehe.
