As Moljul said one was Once Upon a Mattress and several Oscar shows, PBS programs. I think there was a SNL entry but I didn't look at that one. In addition to the one mentioned below & Name that Tune I watched a 60 Minutes segment on Stephen Sondheim that she was briefly in & a program on Sondheim done by the Museum itself -- it had a great (and long) montage clip at the beginning with a discusion with Sondheim after.
i remember seeing at least 2 Tonight Show entries -- i think one where Kermit the Frog was host & another from about 1992, shortly before Johnny Carson retired. I watched that one & it was pretty good. She belted out "Come Rain or Come Shine" in an interesting/wonderful arrangement -- I think one could see every molar in her mouth! The second song, she said, was the first one she ever sang on the Tonight Show -- she said that Carson was her first network appearance. Not sure of the title but it was something like "What Do I Do."
She & Johnny had an interesting chat. He asked her what it was about women and clothes & shoes. She promptly took off her shoe and placed it on his desk while they talked. She got in a funny comment about the shoes/boots he was wearing -- she said that his shoes were coming back into style. She also said that she had a place in LA and one in NY. It got a little muddled here but she said she had so many clothes that she needed a second place here to put them so she stored them in a second apartment but that her assistant needed a place to stay so things worked out. She was followed by Rodney Dangerfield & Beau Bridges

| posted: 9/26/2004 at 4:09:14 PM ET There are actually a lot more Tonight Show appearances at the museum but maybe those are the ones that are in the archives. There is a seperate area to search under the archives. It says it might take up to a week to get the materials but all the ones I chose were available immediately. But there are at least 6 total Tonight Show appearances at the museum. There is quite a funny appearance after she has been the Maid of Honor at a friend's wedding. It's better to see it then have it explained.

Name that tune!!
