Do you think Bernadette is a pretty shy person?

In old interviews from the seventies, she often referred to herself as "shy," but I don't know if she still considers herself that way.

I've heard a recent description (from people who have worked with her) of "quiet, very very quiet". Probably roughly the same thing, it just depends on how you interpret it.

That is so funny, because my friend knew a bodyguard who helped out at Gypsy toward the end of the run with security and all he said about Bernadette was... "she's tiny, very very tiny."

not to sound off with a ton of horoscope mumbo jumbo but as a fellow pisces and that old still waters run deep saying... i think bernadette is probably shy around people she doesnt know very well or in a large crowd. i know that when people first meet me they think its odd that im a performer since i dont talk very much but its because i like to observe and take in my surroundings and then open myself up once i get to know people. im sure bernadettes a blast and very entertaining around her nearest and dearest. this is just a guess though and i dont mean to make any assumptions about ms. peters. just thought i'd add in my two cents
also theres that saying about the two different kinds of actors, those who save it for the stage and those who live their drama
