Or as Madam Morbeley (sp?) in Wicked.
Assassins and A Raisin in the Sun both closed, so technically they're not even on Broadway right now.

Of course she could play anything, but she wouldn't, and she shouldn't.

From: Long Island, New York & Boston, | posted: 7/29/2004 at 1:33:25 PM ET I'm not sure I could totally see Bernadette as Glinda. To me, even though she looks very young, she has this maturity about her and I don't think she'd really fit into a role where she was supposed to play a 18-20 year old. I don't think it has anything to do with her acting, and I'm sure she could pull it off, but I just like to see her in roles for her own age range rather than all the baby-cutesy stuff. Don't eat me alive for saying this!
What about the role that Beth Fowler plays in The Boy from Oz...Peter's mother?

(Oh well, I actualy see Bernadette as..ULLA.. if for no other reason than I would pay lots of money to hear her sing, or even say, "When You Got It, Fl-au-nt It". So cleaver.)

The more I picture it, I think I could still see her playing Glinda. Maybe if they made a movie or something. She's good at cute. And if you think about how old the origional Glinda was.....
