From: Long Island | posted: 6/1/2004 at 10:49:39 PM ET Hi everyone, I just have one concern for this message board, Im so afraid it's just gunna die off, becuase with Gypsy closed, there is really not that much to talk about anymore. I dont know, I just love reading peoples messages, but im afraid there will be no more messages to read. Unless Bernadette comes out with more things (which I bet she will, but not any time soon) then what?

Registered: 5/3/2002 | posted: 6/1/2004 at 11:09:07 PM ET Please don't worry. This board began in February 2001, over three years ago. I read it from the beginning, but it took me over a year before I worked up the nerve to actually post anything. Just because I'm weird. LOL! The thing is, there are a bunch of us out here who love Bernadette a lot. We're not going to stop posting just because a show she was in closed. So what! This board is great--my all-time favorite. It will keep going for a long time...forever, I hope!

From: northern VA | posted: 6/1/2004 at 11:16:56 PM ET Ditto what Brandon said. It may not be *as* active as it has been, but I don't think it will completely die down. As Karen said, this site has been around for several years. There's a CD in the works and there are concerts coming up next year. Broadway Barks is coming up as well. I'm planning on going to the Houston concert (not until April,so that's some time from now.). Maybe the theater board (which really is the off-topic board-not just theater) will become a bit more active when the new theater season starts up again. I would love to see reports/reviews from shows around the country-not just Broadway. I'm moving to a new city,so I'll be checking out shows there. If anyone sees a great new movie,a great concert,a great show,a neat television show, reads a good book, goes on a fabulous vacation, eats at a wonderful restaurant (not limited to fancy restaurants,of course!),or just wants to start a random topic,I hope they post over there. I don't care if you live in Manhattan or Lincoln,Nebraska or Tokyo. It's fun to learn about other towns and places. Maybe it should be named Various Posts That Don't Fit Anywhere Else board.

From: Long Island, New York & Boston, | posted: 6/3/2004 at 10:18:59 PM ET The event is free to attend but if you want to donate or buy autographed CDs or T-shirts, then bring some money. There are no tickets for it but get there early because it does get crowded and you want a good view of the stage.

From: Arizona | posted: 6/4/2004 at 3:18:16 AM ET From what I've heard the event begins at like 2:00 or 3:00 or even earlier in the day when the shelters begin setting up their tables and giving out info. The part with BP, MTM and the other actors doesn't begin until 5-5:30 since many of these performers are currently appearing in shows and they do Broadway Barks between the matinee and evening performance. I have no idea if Bernadette makes an appearance before the actual show part begins or walks around at all. This will be my first year attending so I don't know that much about it.
