I increased the size that avatars can be, as you can probably tell by looking at mine. If you want to reupload yours, it'll show up bigger now. (Maximum of 100 pixels max, either width or length.)

The site won't let me reupload.  ??
It keeps telling me the image size is too large, but I don't know why because it's the same one that's there now, and that uploaded fine a few weeks ago.

I keep trying to put a new pic there, and no matter what i upload, my old one still shows up... and though it does show up bigger, it shows up blurrier!

That's not uncommon for pictures of increased size to appear blurrier-it happens when you use PowerPoint,I know.

The showing up, only blurrier is probably due to your web browser caching the old image. When you upload it, if you still see the old one, hit refresh.
The system looks at the avatar size after it is resized from what you send in. The new avatars will be bigger (in size) since I increased the maximum length and width.
My preference is to keep the avatars under 8KB each so that people on modems don't have to wait forever to get them all. I'll look in to reoptimizing the resizing so it'll show you the size it can be, within the size limits.
