From: Brooklyn, NY | posted: 5/4/2004 at 5:25:15 PM ET I know I made it sound urgent, and I think this is. If you are planning on bringing roses to GYPSY, PLEASE do not throw them at the stage! I don't want to get into trouble for one stupid comment that I made! A cute idea, but not a smart one, as someone has so abruptly pointed out to me. I think this could be very distracting and possibly dangerous. Maybe you could just take them to the stage door or something? I'm not really sure... but once again NO THROWING! Haha! I don't want to be rude, but I just don't want to be blamed for any mishaps. I hope you understand... I have just been kind of nervous about posting that!

From: NYC | posted: 5/5/2004 at 11:50:16 AM ET How about just at the end of the show when she comes out for her bow? Brandon - you're idea is great and you should take credit. I think its a classy thing to do. Performers of other genres always get roses/flowers at the end of their performances.

| posted: 5/5/2004 at 12:35:37 PM ET I think what is normallly done is to hand the flowers to her at the end. I believe Brandon is concerned that people will throw them on stage which I think you see more in films than in actual real life and it is quite dangerous.

Registered: 6/7/2003 | posted: 5/5/2004 at 12:50:42 PM ET I think the message is: don't throw anything at Bernadette! At any time. Use your head. Don't run down the aisle either. And if you have to be told, you are either too young or too nuts to even be in the theater.
**Actually, if anyone does throw flowers, they will likely land on top of the screening protecting the musicians, or in the bass players lap.**
{Off to buy a new VCR; one of mine self-destructed last night--I wonder why?}

Yes, Jean, I think under all circumstances, not just the last performance of Gypsy, it's a good idea to just live by the rule to not throw anything at Bernadette! Or John, or Tammy or Marvin or well, just don't throw things at people.

............I'm a dork
You either got it, or you aint!

From: northern VA | posted: 5/5/2004 at 10:03:44 PM ET Brandon! You're not "in trouble"-for what? I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed that my posts came across the opposite way I intended them to. It's my problem,not yours. And that's the last I'm going to say about that.
I hope you'll tell us all about the show that day. You must be getting excited-sad about it (yes,copied that from "Sorry-Grateful").
Jenn,who can't believe she's going to a series ending viewing party for Friends tomorrow.
I haven't watched the show for two years.

Okay, so the new rule is:
*No throwing things at Bernadette (or anyone in the show).
LOL oooo, what if we did something like they do at weddings. Like when the people come out of the stage door we can blow bubbles. Might get onto some of the programs that they sign, but it would be very pretty.
