BP has been amazing and this is definatly a day that goes down in theatre history. The only thing I believed that went wrong with GYPSY was that BP was snubbed out of her TONY AWARD!!! But she's definatly a winner to all of us!!! Speaking of TONY AWARDS, does anyone know if the reading of the nominations will be televised (like the TODAY SHOW, or good morning america?)

From: northern VA | posted: 5/2/2004 at 11:24:06 PM ET I don't think the announcement is carried live on the national networks.
I have a feeling that the Best Actress in a Musical will be a veery interesting race to watch (again, but with four probably who have a very good chance of winning, instead of two this time)-especially with Donna Murphy winning the Outer Critics Circle Award.
Jenn, who got *no* work done today because she was busy reading Making it On Broadway:Actors' Tales of Climbing to the Top....which has a wonderful section about actors talking about the Tonys (including Marissa Jaret Winokur's comments). I haven't read a book in a day in I don't know how long...get this book if you can. Illuminating,depressing,funny,shocking-it has it all.

Next Monday morning at 8:30am, NY1 will air the announcments live, and then that evening On Stage! Will have a live round table discussion about the nominees.
I knew they announced them last year, but I forgot about the critics' discussion later in the evening (which frankly is the best part). They always show a bunch of clips from the different nominated shows.

From: northern VA | posted: 5/3/2004 at 12:21:25 AM ET I found a link for Ny1:
http://www.ny1.com/
You can listen to an audio stream 24/7.
Here is On Stage:

Video clips are selective, but at least you'll be able to listen to it.
