Well I have a question! I didn't forget....but I went to watch it at 9, and I found out that it had ended at 9......how did that happen??? Wasn't it supposed to be live from 9 to 10?? How could it be on from 8 to 9 in Canada???? I found it kind of confusing! So if anyone has any ideas please let me know!
You either got it, or you aint!

Well, it was on live from 8:00am -9:00am in the Baltimore and Washington stations; I was really worried that the time given in the various press releases would be confusing, and sure enough...
(Check your PM, also)

Registered: 6/11/2002 | posted: 4/11/2004 at 10:16:00 AM ET I was misinformed as well. I am so upset! I read on here that it was from 9-10, so that's what I set my VCR to.
I know this is asking a lot, but would anyone be willing to make a copy of the show for me? I would, of course, pay for the cost of the video as well as shipping. If someone could PM me, I'd really appreciate it.

From: Toronto | posted: 4/11/2004 at 10:40:22 AM ET Ok, the weird thing is that on the NBC website it says 9 to 10, in NYC, HOW can it be on from 8 to 9 in Toronto if it's supposed to be live. lol
My head hurts from thinking about it.........oh wait, that's probably just my head complaining about all the exam studying I'm doing! I'm done in a week! Yay!!!!!!!!!

Insert big smiley face here, with 3 exclamation marks (are you getting this, Mister No-life-at-all-fan-board-troll?)

| posted: 4/11/2004 at 10:57:50 AM ET OOPS I completely forgot about it. LOL I knew I should have written it down so I would remember. That's what I get for not going online for 3 or 4 days. Had I come here last night I would have seen my emails with the reminder.
Oh well, it's not like these people who interview her EVER ask her anything new.
One question:
Did she perform in costume or regular clothes?

Registered: 6/7/2003 | posted: 4/11/2004 at 11:01:00 AM ET In costume, with a few trunks, a dark, kind of moody lighting; a piano player (later edit--wrong, he WAS there--not Marvin) but with full orchestra heard but not seen (later edit-WRONG-no orchestra--), I presume recorded. Lester Holt mentioned that she had been doing the show for almost a year and she said someting like "I don't count, I know there's 2 acts, I just start the show and take my journey.." {NOT EXACT}
That, right there, is probably the clearest description I've ever heard of how a performer gets through a long run or a difficult work.
Brava!

From Internet Network: 65.179.112.x | posted: 4/11/2004 at 11:16:10 AM ET I hope she went home and took a nap. She must have mazing stamina to have done 2 shows on Saturday and probably left the theater around midnight. Then being at NBC before 9 am to get ready and sing with a show to do at 2 PM. I think i read somewhere that she admits not to being a morning person too.

Registered: 6/7/2003 | posted: 4/11/2004 at 11:19:23 AM ET Actually, she had to be there in time for an appearance at 8:50am, and today's Gypsy is at 3:00pm.
Was this pre-recorded, as anon in another thread suggested?
I thought Lester Holt was wearing a different tie, but I really didn't watch the entire thing so I'm not sure.
