Hey guys!

Well, the day that many have waited for is finally here... Looks like they've made a new poster for Gypsy with an actualy photo of Bernadette on it in her famous "Rose's Turn" position. (And yes, it's the standard 14x22 size) BCEFA has one up for auction right now with the cast's signatures on it.

Yeah they've had this poster for a long time but its only avalible through Broadway Cares, not at the theatre or stores.

The Gypsy company is also auctioning the poster on ebay, also for BCEFA. That's how I got one during the last BCEFA campaign.

Really? That's a shame. I didn't know that. I wonder what the odds are that they might eventually start using that as the main poster, as opposed to the one they have now at the theatre.

Actually, you can buy the purple windowcard, the one with Bernadette pictured, from the "Gypsy" Web site (I just did). Click on "Merchandise."

Also, don't know that it's been mentioned here before(?),
but the "Video Gallery" on the Web site has some nice clips from several songs. Good way to get a "Gypsy" fix...

SOA, that is very good news indeed. The (purple) window card must be fairly newly available, because before I posted my note on 3/29, I checked the Merchandise section and only the old (black) one was there. Somehow we have to remember that this is now available, since so many people are asking for it.

I wonder with the change of posters on the website if they are also going to start selling them at the theater.

I first spotted the poster and video gallery Sunday, so they probably just added the posters, Jean. I framed a cover of the souvenir brochure, but I'll still be very glad to have the 14x22 poster. I'll probably replace the black one (which, glass-covered, doesn't show up very well unless the light is just right) in my living room with the purple one.
Someone please post if you see them start to sell the purple one at the Shubert.
