I just saw her onBroadway for Gypsey, even though she was like 30 ft away from me was so star struck!, I'm only 15, and my only wish for my sweet 16 would be to meet her!!! Shes awesome!!!

Hey Caty,
Welcome to the board. My wish for my 17th birthday was to meet Bernadette. I went to New York with my parents. We saw Gypsy again and after the show waited outside the stage door with about 40 other people. Bernadette came out and took pictures with me and gave me an autograph. She signed something for everyone and took pictures with whoever wanted them. She couldn't have been nicer.

About a week ago, we saw Gypsy and did the meet up after the show as well. Bernadette could not have been sweeter. She signed an album cover for us, and then posed for a quick snapshot with some young girls standing next to us. The girls were telling Bernadette that they were taking signing lessons, piano lessons, acting lessons, and it was really fun to listen to Bernadette be so sweet with them. I imagine that it is alot more hectic when there are loads of people out there waiting for her, but if you are polite and patient she seems to get around to just about everybody!
