There were questions about the minimal sets. There was talk of how Sam Mendes shaped everyone's performance. One thing that was discussed was how the show can be different based on how the actors feel that day. And the kids were asked if "stage mothers" still existed, they all claimed they had great moms! Someone asked if BP had played the role previously, and Marvin explained how she had done the show as a kid.

I'm struck by how aware the cast is of the audience, and how we influence their performances...that actually is a question I would have asked, so I enjoyed reading it. (Guess I'd better not be eating, nodding off, reading my novel or looking around the next time I attend Gypsy.)

| posted: 3/9/2004 at 6:10:13 PM ET Hey guys, i know i don't post here often but i went to the show and the Q&A afterwards and it was just great! Whoever posted that little blurb about it was very accourate. I was actually the one who asked Tammy the question about being a TV and Movie actress, BP about her memories and the assistant director about the set! It was alot of fun and of course the show was great. Tammy and BP were of course just amazing and the lamb was very well behaved LOL! I would definetly recommend you guys to go on the 14th of march if possible. Anyways, just though I'd add my experience in here!
