NYC Mayor Bloomberg to Attend Wonderful Town Dec. 31

If you were the mayor of New York City, what Broadway musical would you want to attend on New Year's Eve? Why, Wonderful Town, of course, in which the town you govern looks pretty darn attractive.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg and his family will attend the Dec. 31 performance of the Leonard Bernstein revival, starring Donna Murphy. The show commences at 7 PM, giving hizzoner ample time to watch the ball drop in Times Square.

Well, if I were the Mayor I would go see "The Boy From Oz." I heard they're planning something special, as I'm sure all of the shows are. Or, of course "Gypsy" is always a top choice.
