A great seat, third row, center orchestra and near center. It cost about 30 dollars more than
normal. I've seen Gypsy several times and couldn't think of a better way to end 2003 than with Bernadette and this show.
And I can't get to NYC.
I did not do my homework about getting into the city today, and futzed around instead of getting on the road first thing this morning. So rather than blow more $$$, I'm gonna eat the ticket.
Hear me scream?!#@$!
Funny thing was, just when I found out I couldn't park in the usual place, that the street closes an hour before I could possibly get there, the Today show had an interview on procrastination. Good timing!!
So here is my confession, and I do now officially and publically announce my resolution for 2004 -- I WILL NOT PROCRASTINATE!! No more futzing around.
I'd give the ticket away to someone there if I could, but they ask to see a credit card at Will Call.
Call me Stupid.

Too far away. With driving time to NYC (about 5-5.5 hours when the traffic is good), reading that there could be delays at the tunnels to search vehicles, then finding parking and getting to the theatre, I decided I probably could not make in time, I had cut it too short. And that would be more money wasted (gas, dog boarding, etc.)
If I'd left earlier in the day, I'd have been OK. Such is life...some lessons learned the hard way.
