What a wonderful Christmas present! 
I hope everyone is doing well. I have been so busy with college that I haven't had the opportunity to post. However, I visit this board as often as possible in an effort to keep up to date with everything. This group is truly wonderful and I thoroughly enjoy reading the posts.
Next month I'll be flying to NYC (I'm from Maine) to see Gypsy for the fourth time. I'm so very excited! The last time I saw the show was in June, so I've been having serious withdrawals...lol! This time will truly be a time to remember as I am the winner of the "Champagne with Bernadette Peters" auction that was listed on ebay awhile ago. I put a huge dent in my life savings, but to me it's entirely worth it as the money goes to a wonderful charity (BCEFA). I'm simply estatic and cannot wait to get to the city! This experience will be one that I will never forget

Congratulations, Linnie! That's amazing that you won. I hope you'll be able to post a little about what that experience is like. It's so neat that someone from this board won.

That's amazing! I was watching the bidding on ebay and I kept asking my dad to get it for me for x-mas!!!! You must let us know how it goes!!! What day will it be??
I met her this summer and I found her kind of shy, but wonderful. I became friends with the guy at the stage door so he introduced us! I'm sure you will have a wonderful time!!

Of course I'll share my experience with you fine people! Afterall, I know you'll all appreciate it the most I'm scheduled to see the show and have champagne with the reigning queen of American musical theatre January 5, 2004! And I'll raise a toast to all of you at "Broadway's Best"...i wonder if she'll know what i'm talking about...lol. I'm kinda nervous, either I'll be stunned into silence or I'll talk nonstop. It should be interesting

I'm just curious. I was wondering about this when I saw the auction on ebay: Have they given you rules or something? How long do you get to talk to her?? Is it just the two of you?
I will be in NYC the week before you. I'm going for New Years and I'm seeing Gyspy on the 1st I believe! I really hope I get to talk to her!!

Man am I jealous. I thought about basically depleting my bank account to bid on it but the practical side in me beat out the overwhelming desire to meet her. You MUST post when you return and let us know how it went!
