Anyone ever stay at the Helmsley Middletown at 148 E. 48th or the Comfort Inn in the 100 or 200 block of 46th Street? If so, how was it?

Last July, a friend and I stayed at the Comfort Inn on W.46thSt. and it was very clean,comfortable and quiet. It is also a completely smoke-free hotel.Reasonable.$134.00 a night for two full beds..and so convenient to everything!
