Hello,dear readers of this board:
I just want to thank all of you who have offered good wishes and prayers for my family. Although we are not out of the woods yet,we are cautiously optimistic that things might improve. My grandmother is scheduled for another CAT scan next week,and we're praying that things look better.
We're not exactly sure what kind of improvement we can expect-we know she'll never be her old self again-but we're hoping that we will be able to bring her home from the hospital (she's been there over three weeks). We're really not sure what to expect in the next weeks.
God bless you all,and please,if you have a good relationship with your family,please tell them you love them. You never know what the next day will bring. Material things are nice,but they're just that-material things. You can never replace your family and friends.

thoughts and prayers are still with you and your family. take joy in the small steps. i know it is hard i live in fear every doctors visit my mother has. and i hope things continue to improve
