Bette Milder's new cd goes on sale tomorrow, and Bette will be performing live on the Today Show this Wednesday.

I just saw a commercial for Bette's new cd and it really seems good. I'm curious to hear her take on "Mambo Italiano" which I absolutely loved when Rosemary Clooney did it. But Bette is amazing so I'm sure it's going to be great. If anyone picks up the cd, let me know what you think

Well, I've been listening to her cd non-stop since Tuesday. I absolutely love it! "Mambo Italiano" is really fun; it makes you want to dance.
The only track I'm not too thrilled with is track #1..."You'll Never Know". I don't really like the way she sings it, but it's really short so it doesn't distract from the rest of the cd.

Her duet with Barry Manilow (On A Slow Boat To China) is really cute, and she even sings a duet with herself...it's "Hey There". The melody is so pretty.
For those who aren't sure which song it is, it goes, "Hey there, you with the stars in your eyes..."

I really like track #2, "This Ole House". It's so country, but so catchy. Defintely not a song I would listen to too much, but fun non-the-less.

I never realized I knew that many Rosemary Clooney songs until I listened to this cd. lol

I think this is Bette's best cd in a while.
