Great news for fans of "The Light in the Piazza, my favorite musical of the last several years (after "Gypsy" of course).

According to Aaron Lazar's blog (he plays Fabrizio), the show will air live from Lincoln Center on June 15th.

For out-of-towners or anyone who will not get a chance to see this astonishingly good musical, this is must-see TV. Victoria Clark as Margaret gives one of the most sensitively rendered performances in many years.

I think that this is wonderful news for Light in the Piazza fans but I certainly hope it doesn't prevent people from seeing it in person. If you have the opportunity, please view this wonderful piece of art and Victoria Clark in person.
