The mailings from Carnegie Hall still list Carolee Carmello in the cast for Opening Doors. She wasn't in the playbill at the first night I was at. Has she been performing at the other performances?

I think Carmello officially withdrew because she joined Mamma Mia:

I just found the answer to my question on ATC. She withdrew because she has joined the cast of Mamma Mia and rehearsal scheduled conflicted. She starts at Mamma on the 20th. Darn it! Anyway...she'll breathe life into Mamma. What a voice she has.

Moljul - did you like the show on Sunday? How was your seat?

I enjoyed the show a lot. Recognized a lot of tunes but some came as a complete surprise. The best part was the commentary by Sondheim.

The seat was great. You were right, there isn't a bad seat in the hall.

Yes the stunning picture of Bernadette on a huge screen was a treat! And the fact that Sondheim included her in a party of two with Angela Landsbury as the only two actresses he's worked with who truly act and sing at the same time was quite a compliment.

I thought that part was so cool and so flattering to Bernadette and Angela. There was applause for them at the first night show too.
