Broadway performer
Butler Arts Council invites theater fans to "An Evening with Michele Pawk."
Pawk, a Butler native and Tony-winning Broadway performer will offer songs and stories from her career that has included appearances on Broadway in "Crazy for You," "Cabaret," "Seussical" and "Chicago," as well as Carol Burnett's play "Hollywood Arms" for which Pawk won her Tony.
Performing with Pawk will be her husband, John Dossett, who played Herbie opposite Bernadette Peters in the Broadway revival of "Gypsy."
It takes place at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Succup Theatre, Butler Community College Campus. The evening is a fund-raiser for the council's planned Cultural Village, a development of galleries, theaters, cafes and cultural heritage museum.
