Does anyone know anything about the new musical The Frogs? Any reviews ... would it be a good show to take the whole family to? Thanks

I saw The Frogs a few weeks ago. It is quite cute and funny. The script is a bit weak and the songs are not necessarily Sondheim's best but I still enjoyed it. It is a VERY philosophical play. I would not recommend it for children as it will be completely over their heads. And even adults who are not into philosophy too much will become quite restless in the second act when it turns much more serious, the action stops and they debate theories.

When I went to see Little Shop, there was an article in the playbill about The Frogs. It sounded realyl good. Haven't seen it though.

thanks Moljul. Glad I didn't take the 12 year old to see Frogs, we went to see Phantom instead (which we thoroughly enjoyed, although it ofcourse wasn't Gypsy!). We sure were spoiled having Bernadette in Gypsy!
