actually, I could totally see her playing the witch. Her character on TV is very mean (and yet in real life she's very nice).
I can definitely see her bringing that contrast to the witch in Into the Woods.

OMG!!! Not Lucci again!!! She's like one of those horrible nightmares that you have every once in a while...LOL!! I totally agree with Cindy. Susan Lucci IS NOT the right person to play the witch in ITW. She's not even a stage actress!! I apologize to any Susan Lucci fans, but she TOTALLY sucked as Annie Oakley...she should stay in Pine Valley...

LOL Susan was on Hollywood Squares a couple of weeks ago, and one night (at the end when they ask true or false questions about the celebs), one of the questions was, "Susan played Annie Oakley on Broadway...agree or disagree." I was yelling at my television (in denial of course) going NO SHE DIDN'T! LOL She's a nice lady, but I will never accept her as ever having played that role. Reba yes, but Susan, NO. To me, it will always be a Bernadette role.
But, I still say I can see Susan playing a witch.
