I saw Hairspray yesterday and Chandra Lee Schwarz is now a castmember. I also was in St. Louis last week and caught a show at this outdoor theatre called The MUNY. Anyway, I saw The Music Man (Kim Crosby was excellent as Marion) and found out that David Burtka (John Truitt) was in a production of Meet Me in St. Louis there in June. Anybody know where some of the others have gone?

Michael McCormick was in "Mame" in Sag Harbor (just closed, I think).

Addison Timlin will be in "Annie"--(Annie Jr Musical; Pennsylvania Performing Arts Academy presents. Act II Playhouse, 56 E Butler Ave, Ambler)

Gina Lamparella was in "Fiddler on the Roof" when I saw it in the Spring.

Sarah Jayne Jensen is now performing as an emsemble member of Wonderful Town. Went to see it a few weeks ago and not knowingly caught her in her first night as a new cast member. She was added into a couple of scenes besides emsemble numbers, such as "Pass the Football".

And Wally Dunn in Paper Mill's "Of Thee I Sing":

I suppose this counts--I will be seeing the musical "Hallelujah, Baby" directed by the ever-popular Arthur Laurents in Washington in December(he also wrote the book). This will play first at the George Street playhouse in New Jersey.

Marvin Laird: not exactly about what he's been doing, but does involve a recent production of "Ruthless" in Conn. and has an interview with Joal Paley (plus more news of "Ruthless" for the future):

Great! I've had that play on my "to see" list since I first heard about it.

On ATC, they are saying that Brooks Ashmanskas is or will be (sorry, this isn't clear to me) in The Producers, playing Carmen Ghia, and understuding Leo. And now I understand his "Pastey" in Act 2 of Gypsy--he was auditioning/rehearsing for Carmen Ghia.

I think he was at Williamstown in July in a Shakespeare play, don't remember which.

Yeah I was a little confused by the ATC post about him being in The Producers. I couldn't find anything mentioning it anywhere else but, if true, I think its a great move for him!

Brooks Ashmanskas will indeed be in "The Producers"--according to playbill.com:
