Whoever gets the part will have really big shoes to fill. Did anyone here see the recent fundraiser where each scene was done by a different performer? From the reports, it sounded great.

| posted: 10/30/2002 at 1:43:17 PM ET I wanted to go to that fundraiser, but I had to work that night. I saw a clip from it on "On Stage" and it looked really good.
If they're smart, they'll cast a newcomer (at least someone who has only had ensemble parts). Afterall, Barbra was a newcomer, and look what it did for her.
And really, I can't think of anyone right now who could possibly play the part?
