I know organizations can vary greatly on their timetables and abilities to respond to gifts especially if they received a large number in a short time but I'm hoping my checks reached their intended destinations.

I know it took a LONG time for them to cash the last batch I sent them for the Broadway Barks donation over the summer. I dont think they cashed them until early August and they were mailed to them in April.
As for an acknowledgement, I've not received anything from either organization as of yet.

From: northern VA | posted: 11/16/2005 at 8:26:33 PM ET I only donated to Standing Tall. However, when we did the Broadway Barks thing in the summer, I did receive a little note from someone...perhaps the Mayor's Alliance? And I did not write a large check.

Maybe give them until the begining of December (they are probably flooded with donations in memory of Michael and probably don't have the staff to deal with it) and then call or write them saying you never got an acknowledgement - assuming you need it for taxes.
