I usually don't bother with AI, but I got to tell you that I'm really taken with Carrie Underwood. Her performance on Tuesday was terrific and she has such a wonderful personality

Carrie is my absolute favorite!!
I adore her!
Amongst writing about everything else in my life (and my first Bernadette Peters experience on Sunday) I write a review (my opinion) every time the show is on! I am slightly obsessed!

I have to add that I don't think Carrie should win. I really didn't feel like this year was much star talent. And Carrie is not a star in my opinion.

Oh well, she won! Perhaps the best idol to have won to date (in my opinion, anyway). She's great

For those wondering what Carrie is up to, she'll be on XM 20, "20on20", this Tuesday at 4PM ET for an interview.

I just got an invitation in the mail to the Broadway Meets Country concert on Nov 12. Carrie is listed as a performer that evening. (Bernadette was originally slated to be there but was not included on the invitation I received.)
Others who will be performing include: Trace Adkins, Glen Campbell, Billy Currington, Sandy Duncan, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Raul Malo, Andrea McArdle, Richie McDonald, Idina Menzel, Brian Stokes Mitchell, Donna Murply, James Naughton, Jamie O'Neal, Julie Roberts, Marian Seldes, Carrie Underwood, Ben Vereen, Patrick Wilson, Lee Ann Womack, Trisha Yearwood "and more."
Oh, and tickets for Broadway Meets Country are $1,000 each.

Here's my question: is the invitation a ticket to the show, or an invitation to buy a ticket?

It is an invitation to buy a ticket.
EDIT: FYI....I will not be going to this unless some seriously cheaper seats pop up closer to the date of the show.
