I just saw an episode of will and Grace where Patti Lu pone sings in a restaurant with will and jack. As I had never heard of Patti Lu pone until finding this website I wondered if a) it was really her in the episode? and b) why did she play herself and Bernadette play a character? I know these might sound stupid but I really do have trouble finding info down here, you guys are my theatre guides! thanks heaps

Love that episode by the way and yes, its really her! Patti was asked to play herself because Jack's story line that season was creating a "Diva" wig in which he obtained hair from differen broadway divas. Bernadette appeared during the last season and that storyline was well over-played. It was a nice change of pace to have her play agianst Mullaly as her sister.

thanks so much! I love that bit at the beginning when Jack has the red curls and tells Will that he cut Bernadette's hair while standing in a queue! How many seasons back was the Patti Lu pone episode?
