Unfortunately I did not remember Lily or Rooster at all. A few years later, I fell in love with Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella with Brandy. I thought ti myself, 'I love the stepmother. She's beautiful and wow a good actress.' To this day that is still my favorite Cinderella movie of all time. So this year, I auditioned for my school's Drama Club production of Annie. I gained courage in myself and auditioned unlike last year, I was too insecure and shy. I got the part of Lily St. Regis. It was difficult comprehending that I got the part over my friend Vanessa, who has a beautiful voice and was in the play last year. I got the part over 2 of my friends that had auditioned for it. So, I knew how Lily was, I could remember that much about her. I watched Annie, thinking to get ideas for what else I could do to make Lily special. I fell in love with Bernadette Peters. Her voice, her acting, she like drew me into her. I searched her on the internet and printed out a picture of her in her Lily costume. I watched Pennies From Heaven and fell COMPLETELY in love with her. She is my role model now. I feel completely honored that I of over 100 people that tried out for the play itself, in my first year in Drama Club, got a lead role as Lily St. Regis. I only pray that I am able to make Lily as great as Bernadette Peters did. Wish me luck!

I beg your pardon I'm sure, but I don't stoop to what you're insinuating.

I got to singing "Falling in Love with Love" from the Cinderalle movie. I thought Bernadette Peters did a great job with the song so I was nervous singing it. However I impressed my form High School Choir Director. She was speakless after I sang.
Annie is a great Musical to learn from the best. The actress who played Annie is a native of Pennsylvinia.

Careful the tale you tell, that is the spell. Children will listen.
