They have an adopt-a-thon every year in mid-July, held in Shubert Alley. The November event this year was some sort of special benefit to raise funds for those new computers they want to put in the shelters(I think).

Well considering they've had one every year for the past 5 years I would think so. It keeps getting bigger and better every year (as far as raising awareness).

so i guess ill bump this. so for those who know, is it about in the beginning, middle or end of july? or does it change every year depending? im sure once we get closer to it, we'll know a date. but i want to try and get there for this event. im sure it will be fun and getting to see all kinds of bway stars there! plus seeing bernadette doing what she loves, helping animals.

I've been to Barks for five years in a row. It's a wonderful event I love it. I can't wait for Barks 10.
