Bernadette has voiced a character named "Sue" in The
Land Before Time X: The Great Longneck Migration. It will be released straight onto video! i love it when she does something new even if it is just a character's voice.

I finally got a chance to buy It Runs in the Family. The extras are quite good. The documentary on how it was made was interesting. I did find it funny when Bernadette was complimenting the director and said he was very easy work with and "he doesn't give you the sense that anything you've done SUCKS!". LOL The running commentary during the film is much more of a "How to Direct a Movie" instead of more a character study. I would have preferred more on the characters. Though I would never have thought the scene in the kitchen was Rebecca's scene. For those of you who have not seen the movie or the DVD, it was just a scene that he was talking about how he had a difficult time editing because so many characters are involved and he finally realized that the scene was mostly about Bernadette's character and how she was fielding off of the other characters so that is how he edited it so she was the focus. I never would have thought that but it did make sense. So a little bit of movie directing information. There is also a behind the scenes photo gallery. There is one picture of Bernadette that I find quite cute. She is sitting in the bed talking to the director. Maybe he's a big guy or something but she is just sitting there in her "jammies" with one leg curled up and she looks so small. Almost like a little kid.

I was also surprised how I was struck by some really good scenes (written and acted) that I had forgotten about.

If you haven't picked it up yet, get thee to the store and buy the DVD!

I second Moljul's recommendation about purchasing the DVD. The director's comment about his wife coming to the set everyday is also amusing. I haven't purchased many DVDs with extra features like this so this was a treat. I have Passion but haven't listened to the audio commentary yet and I do have the Sunday in the Park where Patinkin, Peters, Sondheim and Lapine are commenting although you could probably easily transcribe the comments that Peters makes during the two and half hours since they're so few.

What is the comment about his wife coming to the set? The director's wife? I must have missed that. I was walking in and out of the room during parts of it.

It's in the beginning when she's looking at the socks in the window and Schepsi is still making comments about the actors and casting. He says that he "loves Bernadette" and that his wife was on the set everyday because she knew he loved Bernadette. Then he laughs and says that his wife is going to kill him for saying that.

That's cute. I must have missed that. Guess I need to go back and watch it for other things I've missed.
