Also, has anyone noticed that every single interview (TV and magazine) that Bernadette has done to promote Gypsy has all been centered around the exact same topics? "When you first came into this role, not many people thought you could do it." And then it ALWAYS involves Bernadette replying, "Well, the real Rose looked a lot like me. She was short and blond." I don't know about the rest of you, but I would give ANYTHING for a fresh interview that doesn't dicuss the same boring aspects of the show every time. Okay, we KNOW there were nay-sayers at the beginning of the show's run. We KNOW that Bernadette toured with the show when she was a teenager. Move on! There are plenty of other intriguing questions to ask Bernadette about the show.

There. I feel better.

Here here! I'm tired of hearing all that too. Especially since she's proven herself over and over again. I thought the girls did a horrific job with the interview(as they do all of them, who decided to give them a talkshow?) but Bernadette was fantastic! I also thought that people who haven't seen the show would think that Tammy went the wrong way. It's such a cute number but such a hard one to understand out of context. A Rose solo would have been more suitable, especially since they didn't interview John or Tammy(a shame in it's self) But her shoes were soo precious! Have you guys noticed that she always wears like four inch heels? I know I'm gonna have to do that on stage!

Bump it with a trumpet!

The View is awful.

However, when you know more about a particular person than does the general population, talk show appearances can get dull. Conan O'Brien is making the rounds (promoting his 10th anniversary show),and he's asked the same questions-did you think you'd make it this far, etc, and questions about the baby. However, his Fresh Air interview on NPR was quite good, but that was a lengthy interview, and Terry Gross is a thoughtful interviewer.

I watch the View, but I usually only watch the first 15 or 20 minutes. I like when they all talk to each other in the beginning, but once a guest is on I change the channel...unless I really like the guest. They really do have very poor interviewing skills (all of them except Barbara of course). But even she doesn't do that great on that show. she's much better with her own in-depth interviews.

LOL I really wish Bernadette would go on The Jimminy Glick Show; God knows he wouldn't ask the same questions, and Bernadette is friends with Martin Short which makes it even funnier.
