I am in no way trying to speak for Bernadette but something tells me I doubt she kept in touch with the ones she had very little screen time with - the babies, all the little kids in Pennies, etc.
I heard a radio interview with Tammy from Goodbye Girl and she stated that she does keep in touch with Bernadette and Martin Short. But they did a show together and really got to know one another.
