OK, I was looking at my pictures from the cd signing (actually making a scrapbook page out of them ), and I noticed that Bernadette's hair looked like tight ringlets. Then, I was looking at some pictures from about a year ago (ok, well two years ago), and her hair was a softer curl (almost like mine lol). Which way do you like her hair better?

I prefer the softer curls. I think the ringlets are what naturally comes out of her head and a stylist loosens them a bit for a softer look.

I adore her hair the way it is now. I'm jealous.

Agreed with Broadwaybabygal. Either curly way, I would kill for that kind of hair (although my mother, having naturally curly hair herself, has done everything in her power to straigten hers.) I suppose most of us are never happy with what we've got, eh?

I remember Bernadette saying in an interview (Inside the Actor's Studio?) that when she was in high school, she ironed her hair every single day. It was really cute. She said, "I'd look up and see rain and I'd be horrified and think, oh no! My secret's out!"

***************
Regis: And look at all this hair. My God. That's a lot of hair. Look at this. How does hair get this way?
Bernadette: Um.. it sort of grew out of my head like this.

I Love her hair any way! Mine is curly but it's not as tight or consistant all the way through. I agree, I'm jealous

Coming from someone who has curly hair like Bernadette's (and has finally accepted it), I want to know her secret of how her hair looks so good after the show at the stage door after being crammed up under her wig for so long. Mine would just be awful.

well the only secret to managing curly hair is a good stylist. you have to trust the one cutting your hair. and i know this for years i wanted straight hair and after 22 years of fighting it i've given up and said let it be curly

Since we are on the subject of hair and Bernadette... I thought this would be a good time to share my funny story about hair and Bernadette's concert in Buffalo I went to last October at Kleinhan's Music hall. (background info. I have long curly brown hair) I was sitting in my seat, minding my own business, waiting for the show to begin when I felt someone touching my hair from behind. I turned around to see who was feeling my hair to find a group of lttle, old, well dressed, Buffalo ladies commenting on how nice my hair was ad how it resembled Bernadette's and how I was so lucky yada, yada, yada. We chatted etc. I then turned around back in my seat and a few minutes later, another lady was touching my hair again. Turns out it was their friend who had been in the bathroom while we had been chatting and turns out she liked it too. It was quite amusing. You know how "cute" old people can be.

UGH I hate when people touch my hair because when you KEEP touching curly hair, it frizzes more and people who don't have it just don't get it. I need a good cut though...my hair is probably like Sarah Jessica Parker's curliness...but I never know what to ask for lol...help!

To combat the frizzies I use Loreal's Pumping Curls and Anti-Frizz gel. I put the gel on my towel dry hair and then blow it dry and spray the Pumping curls on as I dry it. It seems to work pretty well. As for a cut... I keep layers around the face so it is not just one clump of hair. (My mom actually cuts my hair so we kind of just wing it most of the time. )

Yeah, I have naturally curly hair too but I straighten it most days. Its very dark, almost black and I have very pale skin (its the irish in me!). I put a little frizz ease mousse in somedays when i just can't be bothered to straighten it and it goes into crazy ringlets. Kinda nice. Either way, my friends are always playing with it, touching it, leaning on it (and me underneath) and I've got one friend who even calls it her pillow!!!
Never mind theres a person attached to it!!!

they say bernadette's wonderful..........and she is
