well I just finished watching gypsy, the movie! what a great show it will be! well any way I was wondering if she will play the part of rose or what part?

I'm pretty sure she's playing the role of Mama Rose.

What a compliment to Bernadette --to think that she could, sort of, play Louise/Gypsy!

The Producers wanted Bernadette because she's not like the the women who have played that role before; they didn't want a brassy broad, they wanted someone who was pettite and pretty, but has a powerfull voice & personna. Bernadette is perfect for this role. Plus, Bernadette has made it very clear (for years now) that if she had her choice of any role, Mama Rose was it.
