Well, I didn't get to see every moment of it (as I was running around trying to get ready for work) but I hope this helps anyway. They talked first about Gypsy and it being the best show with a great book and how Arthur Laurents picked her because she was different from the other Roses. She said how she'd been in the tour when she was 13 and now it's amazing because she's playing the lead. And they showed some childhood pictures of her (one was of her at home which she said 'wasn't supposed to be on'). She thanked Regis for his "lovely note" that he sent to her after? he saw Gypsy. Then she talked briefly about Prince Charming and how she kissed a potato instead of a frog because they added the frog later (pretty funny). And then talked a little about Broadway Barks, but came back later in the show for that when Regis paraded some dogs that were up for adoption and she was reading all about them. (That was pretty funny because she was trying to talk over Regis and the audience, and she said something like, 'they can hear me, right?' And that's pretty much the report (all I can remember anyway!) Hope that helps!

I remembered something else about the show and the pictures, while I'm at it. The one of her where she's holding what looks like a bow (I have no idea what it really is) and she's topless, she commented on it being her one and only nude scene and how she was embarassed, pointing to the picture. (She must have been around 5?) Cute. Ya' know...just more details, in case you wanted them!

| posted: 7/8/2003 at 1:53:47 PM ET I thought it was funny when Bernadette dissed Regis about his handwriting. LOL But he agreed with her, that he does have bad penmanship.
And at one point Kelly kind of dissed Bernadette Bernadette said (about the photo of her on the living room floor), "That one wasn't supposed to be in there."; and then Kelly said, "If you bring it into the building, it will end up on TV."
I dunno, maybe I'm reading more into it than I should.

I thought it was very cute when Bernadette told Kelly that Regis can do anything he wants to do. (In regards to the coming backstage question)

| posted: 7/8/2003 at 2:14:07 PM ET LOL You know what else was really funny...when Bernadette was describing the way other women have portrayed Rose in the past, and she said, "Can I say Ball-breaking. Oh, well I guess I just did." HAHAHAHA Just the way she said it, and the face she made when she said it was so funny.

| posted: 7/8/2003 at 3:03:08 PM ET I believe she was holding a fishing pole in the her "topless" picture. She had on jeans that had the cuffs rolled up. Very adorable.
I don't think Kelly meant anything against Bernadette. She was just commiserating with her and making a joke. Bernadette was the only one that said anything negative about the picture and she really didn't say anything bad. She just seemed rather surprised that it was there probably because it was a casual picture of her at home as a kid. And maybe she feels it was one of her "geeky kid" pictures that we all have. LOL Though I found it quite amusing that they used that very picture in a close-up when they came back from commercial break. I guess once they found out she wasn't particularly fond of it they were going to give her a hard time.

I tried to think of a nicer way to say "topless" but I drew a blank and since she's just a kid in the photo I hoped it wouldn't be taken as offensive...lol...It is an adorable photo.

| posted: 7/8/2003 at 3:51:43 PM ET LOL Well that's what she was - topless! Sometimes trying to be politically incorrect can get in our way. Also, in that she was probably 4 or 5, I don't think it would offend anyone. Bernadette herself brought up that it was her only "nude scene". I loved the conversation she and Regis had about it. He was asking her if she was 18 or 19 in the picture and she was like "Oh yeah, I was a late developer".

I thought it was sweet that Regis said he was worried about her before Gypsy opened.
